We encourage and support preservation projects, cultural activities, educational programs, tourism, as well as, economic growth in the downtown area, making downtown Southport a vital, vibrant, year-round community for citizens and guests.

3rd Annual Southport Wooden Boat Show Sept. 29, 2012 10am - 4 pm Old Yacht Basin, Southport, NC There will be Wooden Boat displays (on land & water), Maritime Arts & Crafts, nautical & maritime demonstrations, Nauti-kids events, and a new event this year, a Chowder Cook-off, so get your taste buds ready.
